“All Things Fall Apart” is a 2011 film directed by Mario Van Peebles. It features, among other stars, the rapper 50 Cent.

This movie was very inspiring and should be required for all athletes, as it has lessons about life, commitment and taking nothing for granted — if you have talent don’t ever waste it.

This film also shows that if you fall to get right back up , and to never give up on anything.

The main character, 50 Cent based, this movie on a childhood friend who died of cancer losing up to 54 pounds trying to portray his character .

This movie was about a football player name Deon, a Grand Rapids Community College senior who had all the fans who later in the season suffers from a deadly disease. Throughout the season he’s been carrying his team winning them games, his mother was his biggest fan and so was his father.

His father couldn’t see him doing anything else but playing football, Deon’s brother however was jealous of him because all the fame he was getting and how lovely his parents supported him playing the game.

After one of the games in the middle of the season he ended up blacking out and went to the hospital. The doctor said he was diagnosed with cancer and didn’t think he would be able to play ever again.

Deon refuses to listen just like his father trying to fight through the pain but it doesn’t work out. He ends up losing a lot of weight to a point where he got very skinny and couldn’t lift his weights anymore, he lost all his hair and looked totally different. His girlfriend he had during the season turned on him also because of the way he looked. Everybody in his family was devastated including himself because they thought he would play again. During the stage of Deon being sick his stubborn crazy dad would still try to make him to get his body in shape , and Deon’s body would get affected by it.

After Deon realized that his football days was gone he started looking for a job, he asked his dad to work for his car dealership company and his dad told him no. His dad lost hope in him and thought he was just useless now.

One day he was in front of his dad’s shop I persuaded a man to buy one of his dad cars. While persuading the man, Deon’s dad tried to tell him to stop but Deon believed in himself and got the job done. Since that day Deon starting working as a car dealership men and became successful that way, and the movie ended off with him being a successful healthy young man.

This movie was perfect, it definitely changed lives and how people think about life. There was a big definition to this movie , and I feel that it is to never give up. There’s always going to be downfalls but you just have to fight through it and don’t let what people say affect you.

This movie changed me as a man before I seen this movie I had a quitting problem when it came to sports or test. After watching the movie I began fighting through tough situations , and the results was good. So this movie motivated me as a man to never give up and to ignore the negativity.
