A Fishy Situation
March 2, 2015
AIC junior Kyle Kazukynas created this cartoon in his Cultivating Creativity class, with Professor John Nordell.
The assignment called for students to respond artistically to a controversial painting by African-American artist Claude Clark, called ‘Polarization.’ That painting depicted issues of race and power in the United States.
Kyle Kazukynas wrote, “I believe there is a constant battle within the US and its citizens. However, many are blind to see it.” His cartoon is a visual representation of those thoughts.

I am trying to find the real author for my student who is analysing it for a class exercise. Can you confirm who the original artist is please?
