Raiders of the Lost Ark is a 1981 American film directed by Steven Spielberg and later marketed as Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Langford is a passionate guy when it comes to teaching, especially his classes about producing films and how films started. This semester, he is currently teaching several of filming included courses such as Video Production, Advance Video Production, Television and News Production, History of Cinema. Some of his courses for Spring 2015 semester are New Media Lab, Video Laboratory, Great Directors, Visual Communications and Introduction to Screen Writing.

“Marty is a one of a kind,” Peter Jean-Paul, a student in Langford’s Advance Video Production shared his thoughts.

“If I did not meet Marty, then I would not have the motivation to do all these video stuff. Marty makes my school experience a lot enjoyable,” Peter added. “I hope I can make him proud.”

Langford loves films and the easiest way to communicate with him is talking about films. He loves to share his thought about films and also love to question the students about which films have they watched in the past weekends whether at home or at the cinema and asks for their thoughts about the films.

“I wanted to make others feel the way I felt when I saw that movie.  I was 12 years old and I immediately went how and started writing a sequel. I made little home movies in which Indiana Jones was a character on an adventure,” said Langford.

Langford is a graduate from Boston University with a degree in Broadcasting and Film. Screenwriting is his strong point.

He has been teaching scriptwriting, advance audio production and writing for Radio and Television in Westfield State University and Independent Film at Holyoke Community College.
